How to View the Scenic Features  

Step 1.

From the toolbar at the top of the map, first select the "Select Features" button with your mouse pointer. Once the button is selected it will change colors, as shown below.

Step 2.  

Next, position the mouse cursor on or near a feature icon that you are interested in and click on the icon. It may be helpful to use Zoom in to focus in on particular areas of the county and their features.

 

 

Use these icons:

Heritage Trees

Cemeteries

Historical Markers

 

 

 

 

Step 3.

A small window will open on your screen displaying a list of features that fall within a short distance of where you clicked on the map. Navigate through the the list of features by expanding the list; click on the plus signs to see the list of features for each section. The number of features are in parenthesis (). Trees are listed by number and historical markers and cemeteries are listed by name.

Step 4.

Once the list is expanded, click on a tree number, or the name of a historical marker or cemetery. The data will be displayed next to your list.
